About Gyruss
======================================================
Background:

Woo boy, this translation has been on my backburner since
2010 and I never really made a serious attempt at translating
it until now. One of the things complicating the project
was that the font was compressed with RLE. I had it all
figured out, documented etc, but never did anything more
since I don't do any high-level programming. Fast forward
until recently when rainponcho graciously provided me with
tools to take care of the font and now I have a complete translation
for everyone.

So, Gyruss was actually ported to the NES and released only in the
US, but the port removed the intro and ending text. Not that it
was super important, but it's now all in English with better
sound. Enjoy Toccatta and Fugue in D Minor NES style!

Patching Instructions
======================================================
Due to limitations in the IPS format and the changes I
made to the ROM, I'm only supporting BPS and xdelta formats
for this game. You can download a program to patch from here:

We would be highly grateful, if you find some time to
contact us with proposals or corrections. Information
on found bugs or corrections would be highly
appreciated.

P.S.

Support the game industry by buying used games!

Even if the money doesn't go to the developers
directly, as the games become rare and harder
to find, the price goes up, and people become
more inclined to buy new releases "while they can!"
